Thread: Need to buy 25 Computers

Hi friends,

We need to buy 25 computers with basic configuration. I tried searching online for HP computers with price, but the HR site does not give price details, can anyone give me links where I can surf configuration of computers and get their prices online so that I can mention these in purchase order.

In purchase order I need to mention the configuration and the estimated price.

My configuration is as follows: Basic Level

Intel Dual Core E5400 (2.7Ghz)
2GB RAM
320 GB HDD
18.5TFT
DVD RW
10/100 ethernet/
Windows XP / 7
MS Office 2007

would be better than the one you have said in terms of performance. Would be same in cost too. Since you are from chennai, please check deltapage.com .You have not said anything about the motherboard in your config btw..

The best way to do this is contact a few resellers and ask them to send in quotes for a particular config. Then pick the cheapest one and do his head in for a 25% discount and if he doesnt agree just spend some time with others and I can assure you a discount of 25-30% as compared to the going rate.

HP bulk prices are a lot lower then the retail and HP has different prices for different lot sizes... say for example there are two resellers and one wants 50 laptops and the other wants to order 25 laptops same model... The one ordering 50 laptops will get a better deal... With HP it works on a per order basis so I suggest you go for the most popular model and ask the reseller to give you a massive discount.

You could also call up Just dial and give them you phone number for resellers to contact you... give all of them your requirement and ask them to send in quotes.

Tell them you need 150 peices but first lot would be 25 only and see the price drop furthur... Its a number game.
