    Hello friends,
    I am submitting my PC config with price, expected from all of you the same.
    It will be very helpful for us.

    Processor: Intel Core 2 Quad Q9550 @2.833 GHz, 12 Mb L2 cache=15500/-
    Motherboard: Asus P5QC, Intel P45 Chipset=11000
    RAM: Corsair DDR3 2+2 Gb (1600 Mhz)=8500/- (now it is cheaper)
    Hard Disk: Seagate 500+500+1000 GB=10000/- total
    PSU: Zebronics realwatts 550 w =3500/-
    Graphic card: MSI R5830 1 Gb=13400/-(not so good instead go for 5850/5770)
    Cabinet: Iball Gamer =2000/-
    Dvd Writer: Lg= 1200/-

    Motherboard:Gigabyte GA-P55M-UD2(little hard to find in stock) - 6.2k
    RAM: Transced/Gskill 4GB (2 x 2GB) DDR3 1333MHz - 5.2k
    GPU: Sapphire 5770 1GB GDDR5(DX11)- 9.6k
    HDD: Seagate 500GB HDD - 3.1k
    Cabinet: CoolerMaster 690 II - 4.8k
    SMPS/PSU: CoolerMaster GX550 - 4.6k
    Optical Drive: L.G. GH22NS30 SATA/Samsung SH-S22F SATA - 1.1k
    Monitor: Benq 24" G2420HD - 10.6k
    Sound Card: ASUS XONAR DX - 4.5k
    Speaker : Logitech Z5500 - 22k

    PS : Prices are that at the time for buying(April)

    Is there any difference between on board sound and ASUS XONAR DX

    Definitely an additional sound card increases the audio performance if you have a decent card.
    Proper sound cards use less cpu power as well as putting out clearer sound and higher quality.
    Using a PCI soundcard also depends on the speakers your are using. With a low end pc speakers you won't be able to fully get the hi-def sounds. So it is better to get some good set of speakers to go along with the soundcard.

    Motherboard: Gigabyte G31 ES2L : Rs2000
    Memory : 4GB Corsair XMS2 DDR2 800MHz : Rs4500
    Video Card : ATI HD 4850 512MB : Rs11,000
    PSU : Corsair 550VX : Rs4800
    HDD : 500GB Seagate : Rs2200
    Cabinet : Cooler Master HAF 922 : Rs6500
    Mouse : Razer death adder 1800dpi : Rs2000


    prices are what i had got the stuff for, most of which was 2 years ago, probably costs 1/3rd now.

    @chiiirag : its pointless getting a 5830 now, better go for a GTX 460 768MB version for Rs10,500.

    But I bought 5830 before GTX 460 launched
