Thread: suggest a pc configuration

i wanna buy a pc with a budget of 40k.i will use it for surfing internet and playing games only.plz suggest only amd ones as i prefer amd over intel.i have 1 gb ram extra with me.a video card is a must but less than 8k.plz help me.also wifi card is a must.i already have a compaq sr5250il.i can also upgrade that with a mobo ,processor,ram,hdd,smps,grapic card that means virtually everything.within 40k.i will do overclocking.so good set of fans r must.but my pc already have 3 of them.plz advice me i am really confused.and i am a extreme gamer.monitor must be full hd.screen size dont matter

Kingston 4GBRAM(Go for G-skill better , or Corsair definitely not hynix) 3.8K
ATI 5750( Average Card, i say buy 6850 for 12k..or stick to Sapphire 5770 for 8.2k)12k/8.2K

there is no such mobo by asus in the whole world.if you meant Asus M4A-78PRO, its a DDR2 mobo not a DDR3 mobo.

Please do a little research before guiding others.

i already have a monitor cum tv 19 inch hd so no need of monitor.and i want a gfx card for 8k only.and on processor i think u r right.i think the money saved will go into the gfx card.thanks

dude, it was a typo i was actually referring to the LE board you had suggested. Don't make a big deal out of it.. i have been doing this for quite some time.


And regards gfx card, aditya with your config, it will be difficult to go crossfire(Cabby, PSU upgrade required later) so buying a card like 6850 ATI will help you games for another 1-2 years at good setting!! then its your choice.

there are so many mobos in the market that you can't be sure until you got the exact name.

there is actually a M4A78-PRO which is a DDR2.

i will not upgrade that pc for another 2-3 years.so i want a future proof configuration.so fine tune my build.plz
