Thread: Cpu starts after 3 to 4 tries in winter.so strange!!

I am having a strange problem.in winter season especially in december and after my cpu doesnot start at once when i press the start button.It gets off and on for 3 to 6 times and then at last starts.
it will be very kind of u if u sought out so humiliating problem of mine.i have checked all the connections of the cpu .all r good. this problem of mine is persisiting from 3 years.

thats because in winters there is excessive voltage around 290V. so its cpu getting cut off to avoid any short circuit. if UPS is already connected to your sytem, then when ever u want to use your system, dont press the power button of cpu instantly. First switch on the UPS wait for 5-7 min then press the power button.

me to suffer from this issue as in winters my domestic voltage raises to 290V. this trick works for me every time.
