boards from Intel (made by Intel) are good, but some dealers advice against it coz Intel have bad reputation in providing "In Warranty" Replacement.

Better go in for a mobo from Asrock. Good LGA775 boards will cost u about 2.5k, with onboard graphics.

Check with the dealer if u can use a mobo with the p35 chipset.

Verify u can use all ur add on cards with the new mobo.

    -thanks,
    -nwk.

yeah but but i thought that you wanted to change the proccy also.
overheating, if your problem, is not coz of the mobo.
overheating is due to that d820 u r using.

if u still want to buy a mobo, u should first check out the local market there coz 1156 and 1366 are all over the market.775 socket mobos are hard to find.whatever u get in the market, post it here and we can compare them.

also tell them that u got a 90nm, 95 W cpu coz the dual core supported boards available which are 775, sometimes do not support a d820.the dual core proccys available 2day(4 those 775 boards) are only 45 nm, 65W, much cooler than our one.

Hope I made myself clear. If in doubt, feel free to ask.

    Heating is Due To
    1) ur Processor : Weak Processor, it is always Overloaded , Inspite of It being Put on some Work,
    2) Crappy MOBO (srry) : It is a Fact, Bad Built Quality,
    I Have 3 QUestions:
    i) What SMPS u Using ?
ii) What is Ur Budget ?
iii) any Specific Brand Prefs u HAV ?
