Thread: Printing Problem

Whenever i give command for printing of any word or PDF file, message appears that printer is not installed.

Then I go to my computer,manage, service and application then services and at this place i made my printer spooler start. ( These I learned from one of my friend ) after that I am able to print.

usually I print 2 to 5 pages in a 7 days, but i have to do all these things each time.

I learn from this forum and so Every alternate day I run CC cleaner, Win utilities, One click maintenance of tune up utilities and glary utilities. This might be the reason for said problem.

I am using Avast free edition of anti virus.

I have Win XP SP3 OS and 2 GB RAM core 2 duo 1.8Mhz.

No power fluctuation in my area and every time i do step by step shut down and start up of my desktop.

Please kindly suggest me for the said problem.

Reinstall printer drivers and check.

I think the problem is with TuneUp. When it installs it will ask whether you are going to use a printer. If said " NO " it will disable the corresponding service. Not sure how to put it back automatically.

Check other utilities you use. You may find an option to bring it back.

Run CC cleaner and then checked printing services, found working OK.

Run Glary utilities and then checked printing services, found working OK

Run One click maintenance of tune up utilities and then checked printing services, found working OK

Run Win utilities and then checked printing services, found working OK

But as a part of win utilities, i run registry defragment tool and after that I found the said problem of printer spooler.

Now what to do to overcome these problem. However i made printer working after said registry defregmentation. Each time i have to do the same thing to go manage and services.

Do not give simple answer that do not run registry defregmantation under win utilities.

Please try to find out permanent solution.

You said u start the spooler service everytime u want to print.
I think the spooler service startup option is on manual try changing it to automatic so the spooler service will start with windows everytime.
