It is good. But virus definitions are stored in cloud. So try it only if you have a high speed unlimited connection.

Install it, use a bandwidth meter, perform a full system scan and check.

hmm i asked at Panda forums and they told me that it takes very less around 100-150kbs for a full scan...

Speed requirement may be less, but see how much data will it consume to perform a full system scan.

Note the current reading, close all browsers, disable all updates and apps that use net and try a full system scan. Check the reading after the scan. The difference if the data consumption. Post the values here.

I am of the opinion that we are not yet ready for cloud. Not sure what will happen when desktop / laptop is offline. Also till the time it connects to net after booting (there are many malware which starts with Windows). Also Avast offers boot time scan which is very effective against malware. Please raise these points in Panda cloud forum and check. But first see how much data it will take for a full system scan.

sometimes the scan was not working.... and you need to be too technical if the antivirus stops service.. (you have to go to task manager , start service called panda antiviru).. even to test you need to do so many works..

i am happy with avast right now...no complications.
