Rep Power: 2 | Quad cores are already outdated ...Intel is going to release a 6 core version (devoloped in India) and is already on the way to realesing an 8 core version ...will open a new thread detailing it out .... |

Rep Power: 1  | The new Core i7 processors will be launched near October end for desktops. They are based on the new Nehalem architecture which brings back hyper threading technology from pentium 4. It is processor with 4 cores and 8 threads and provides more than 30% improvement when compared to quad core platform. Apparently it is not for gaming. Intel will be releasing 3 processors at around $ 280, $550 and an extreme edition for $999. $280 is 2.66 ghz I think |
