In assembled ,u get your choice-the best one
bcoz one company is not good in all hardware.

There is no company which manufacturs all the desktop computer components.. Even branded computers are put together using components from different companies.

This question maybe off topic. But people, can you people help me to assemble a new PC. I am planning to invest 40k for it. Can you please give me a good configuration, which is suitable for internet surfing. I am including accessories like webcam, headphones and speakers also. Will be very helpful for me..

Thanks

I would prefer a branded desktop. While going for assembled there is risk involved that it may be better or worst. For branded stuffs we get the standard quality.

And now I regret going in for a high end assembled PC.

I need branded PC. Even a branded lappy would have worked lot better than this dumb assembled junk.

If the person buying a PC is smart enough to choose the appropriate CPU, GPU, MotherBoard and RAM then assembled PC will be the better value for money.

Ya I got all the high end products but the after-sales service seriously sucks.

But Dell rocks! Just go ahead with Dell branded Desktop or Laptop and you won't regret!

Yea i definitely go for assembled, coz i can assemble it my self ,and the best thing is that its more valve for money ,compared to Branded ones, the money u pay extra for a branded one. rather buy more Ram and a stand alone GPU,

plus u can customize it to you hearts will

My next PC would be a gaming PC,with Liquid cooled graphic card and Physx GPU,Custom uv LEDs and Paint

Like Voodoo Pc and Alienware & Dell Renegade...damn those are some gud systems but really over priced .

besides, the branded pc sellers r practically robbing people in here,
for high prices they sell inferior goods. But they always remember to use a glossy LCD monitor and nice looking cabinet, the things inside r not worth a dime......
If u want nice peripherals, they will give u a price for which u can get a car......

Well, I prefer assembled PC.
Coz its cheap, service is good(for branded you have to wait for engineers and may be you have to wait for some days), and can upgrade and a lot plus points...

I would always go in for ASSEMBLED ones as they are much cheaper and you get the combination of chips and memories that you need without any hassle. And you have the option to choose your own monitor..cabinet....mouse and even keyboard and speakers. Thereby all the cosmetic things are also in your own hand and its like a end to end customised PC for you.
If you are a novice in assembling then just go to Nehru Place in Delhi and pay 300Rs and they will assemble the whole PC according to your requirements and your configuration needs. You just need to choose the visible items i.e. Monitor, keyboard, mouse, speakers UPS etc....and u get this much cheaper then the branded one.

And the branded PC's have only 1 year warranty adn that too for that you need to call the service engineer who will come in days and then take the PC and then get back to you in days to put in the replaced part.....but in Assembled you get a minimum (naw a days) 3 Year (also called a lifetime warranty) on each part and to replace that you just need to go the required shop and tell him to give you a new peice and he will do it within a few minutes.

If you want to know the prices and their difference in branded ones ....you can visit the Nehru Place site ::: nehruplaceithub.com Nehru Place IT Hub - Delhi - INDIA - Latest Prices for Computer Hardware, Laptop, Desktop PC, LCD Monitor, Memory Cards, RAM, Hard disk drive, Pen Drive, DVD Combo Writer, Webcam, Digital Camera, MP3 Player, USB devices, Laptop spares Parts, Laptop A[/url]

Nehru Place is the Asia's biggest computer market and there are around a 1000 shops over there.... the site contains a little bhit higher prices than you will get over there as only the big merchants have their shops listed over the site.. so reduce 10% of the cost from the listed price for the actual price in nehru place.

I am using 2 ASSEMBLED PC's from the last 15 years (a 1993 model P-I) and (a 2005 model 3.4Ghz P -IV Dual core) and they are working in perfect condition till now.
