Default Some suggestion for a branded Desktop Computer

What could be the best branded Computer one can buy now?

I have an assembled computer already. But going to buy two branded computers and both should be the same brand. Thinking of which company Desktop to buy. What will be your suggestion?

I don't see much difference in the cost. All major brands comes with 150 GB, LCD Monitor, UPS and so on. So which can I choose?

Dell or HP are the best in India. It all depends upon service availability.

Dell is really not a good option in India for UK and US dell is the best option but in India they don't have good network of service centres, according to me hp or HCL is really good idea to go for as now they are offering good configurations in 20K to 29K range with 3 years on site warranty.
for more details you can check hp and HCL websites where you can find details of all configurations and rates

Well, I am not talking about Laptop but Desktop. Anyhow, thanks for your suggestion.

And thanks everyone for sharing their ideas. I was planning to look at HCL only. I may end up my hunt for new Desktop, there.

    I dont like branded computers,
i believe in self assembled computers. My friends who have branded are problemful.
No doubt their computers run correctly but future problems occurs.
Im not against anyone company and im not specifying it.

Just wanted to say buy assembled computers,
    For configurations PM me.

Give Dell a try if not go for Compaq or even HP but stay with a good brand which people trust. Assembled stuff might cost you a couple of thousand less but in my opinion getting a branded one is a lot better idea.

    I agree with admin

assambled may cost you few thousands less then branded one but it is reliable coz if something happens then you will get good service options and you need not to run behind any vendor for small problems and all those things.

Believe me dell is the best option or HP if u just wanna get a branded one. As far as dell service is concerned u don't really need a service centre for a computer... it just keeps working...
I had got a compaq 4 yrs ago and it was the worst thing that happened to me. Back then i did not have much knowledge of comp hardware so going for a branded one was the best bet.

There's just one thing that i'm really happy with this comp, the speakers;JBL Platinum series, the sound is just so awesome... i did not need a subwoofer for it...

I wud seriously recommend a self assembled one tho... Assembling a system urself is not hard... give it a shot.

I would recommend you to stick with Dell or HP, which are the best performers in the Indian market. And they are indeed very good.

HP has pretty good Desktops but if you want style & performance try the Mac

Btw check out the new touchscreen Desktops from HP.
