Thread: DD to broadcast in HD

guys, when a channel goes HD or somethin, do they even upgrade the audio ?? I mean will we ever get 5.1/7.1 on cable T.V . If yes, BOSE could run out of business
I would really like the Box's to have an Optical or coaxial audio outs, would be gr8 to watch cricket with surround of ur home theater !

True HD means true high def video and high def sound also.

Why will Bose go out of business? This has not happened in USA/Europe.

well, cos one of the main features of a BOSE home theater was that even a mono signal can be converted to a 5.1 output. Well, u can get DVDs in 5.1 .But, originally i was under the impression that u cant get TV signal in 5.1 . So, a bose system had a good advantage over many others. But now, i say HD means 7.1 audio, means that, that feature is no longer applicable in such a situation.

Also, signals in tata sky in 5.1 ?

IS this full HD or 720p?

Everything is speculation at the moment. But I would expect Full HD.
