Rep Power: 7  |  Connecting DTH STB to TV Tuner Is it possible to connect a DTH STB to a TV tuner? If so are you able to view all the channels? Although my friend said she would ask the shop keeper, this can be asked at shops, but sometimes I dont trust shop keepers as they would just lie, for the sake of selling the product, so I suggested I would find out from India Broadband Forum. |

| Platinum Member  | It is possible to connect the STB output to a PC TV tuner. There are two ways: a) Connect the composite (Yellow-White-Red) RCA cable out to the TV tuner's similar inputs. No tuning is necessary - TV can be watched on the AV channel. b) Connect the RF out of STB to RF-in of TV tuner. Tune the tuner card with the software. Channel control will be via STB/remote only.
