While you are on the move or travelling from one place to another, listening to music is one of the best ways to keep yourself occupied and entertained. There are many options that you can choose from – listening to Mp3, listening to I pods or listening to radio. Among all the available options, the radio option is the best and most resorted to one. Earlier there were not many options available in India in terms of radio. From early twentieth century, thanks to FM , India has witnessed a plethora of options in the field of FM radio stations.
Each place has its own set of FM radio channels, which mainly cash on the local flavour and cater to the local listeners. However, there are certain big hot shots in FM radio station that are listened to by people all across India. A few of them are 98.3 Red FM,Mirchi Radio and 92.7 Big FM and so on.
With the onset of these FM radio stations, India was introduced to the concept of Radio Jockeys. Radio Jockeying over night became one of the hottest professions in India. Almost everyone and any one wanted to be on air .The job of these Radio Jockey's is extremely difficult. Just by their voice, they need to entertain the listeners. The fact that they cannot be seen and still they need to entertain and entrall all the listeners make their job difficult and challenging.
While on a drive, listening to FM radio stations can be quite an interesting thing. Not only, do they air lovely songs that are sure to take your breath away but also have various laughter sessions to entertain you and de stress you.
On a serious note, they they also have news bulletin aired at equal intervals to keep you abreast with the latest happenings.
