I am currently using Hathway Set top box (Huawei)to view the cable channels. This box does not support HD since the back of the box has provision to connect only composite cable. (i.e. Yellow, Red & White).

This box need a card to be inserted to view the channels.

My question is, whether i can purchase HD compatible Set Top box (that has HDMI port) separately from different manufacturers and insert my exisiting card to view the HD airing channels. My intention is to continue with the existing hathway service.

If this is possible, please let me know which HD set top box is best.
