Can someone guide me on what would be the best HD DTH provider and LCD TV combination in Hadapsar, Pune? I am going to install this facility in five rooms of my house. How can one get the best deal as this would be a volume purchase? I would prefer quality over quantity.

You should check with the TV dealers. They may offer you a good deal for volume purchase. Best way is check prices at multiple places. Visit company showrooms, Multi-brand showrooms as well as smaller vendors. I have often found that "Maharashtra Electronic Corp" on Tilak Road will get you the best deal.

Regarding quality, my "absolute firm" opinion is that plasma is better than LED and LED is better that LCD. But people simply refuse to listen to me. It is not that LED is bad but ... (hmmm). If you decide to buy plasma, stick to Panasonic. For LED, either of Sony, Samsung or LG will be good choice. Note that almost all manufacturers get the panel manufactured/sourced from the same place.

Your final question of HD DTH provider. In my opinion TataSky is the best of the lot.
