How come some DTH operators offer more HD channels than that exist? Are you listening Reliance and DishTV.Reliance says "over 250 channels in HD"and DishTV says something similar!

Most channels are SD upscaled to HD by hardware converters and are not real HD channels. The real HD channels are as follows:

• Discovery HD: Full time HD
• ESPN HD: Full time HD
• Movies Now HD: Full time HD
• NGC HD: Full time HD
• Neo Croicket HD: Event Based
• Set MAX HD: Event Based
• Star Cricket HD: Full time HD

• Star Plus HD: Full time HD
• Star World HD: Full time HD
• Tamil Movies HD: Some upscaled
• Tamil Songs HD: Some upscaled
• Telugu MoviesHD: Some upscaled
• Telugu Songs HD: Some upscaled
