Siti Cable Services

Does anyone on the forum use Siti cable services? I have seen a lot of shops who have the Siti cable STB and I have viewed the connection and it is very clear, what I was actually confused about is that Siti connection is cable which I know has been stopped, so what is the whole Siti cable connection about? Any information of costs would also be appreciated.

Siti cable has four packages to choose from:

Janta (BST) - Rs100 per month

Popular - Rs180 per month

Grand - Rs220 per month

Premium - Rs267 per month

This is damn cheap, I have also seen the quality and it is not bad. How many channels with each pack do you know?

For those who dont have Tata Sky or Dish TV they go for Siti cable which is supposed to be very good, they have majorty of the channels which one needs.

Cable connection works out a lot cheaper then any DTH we have available. Another advantage is that rain outage is minimal with cable TV.

I also use Siti cable and no doubt it is very good, it has all the basic channels and if there are any extra channels there is also an Al La Carte option as well. It is good for those who do not want to spend too much on TV services and want to stay away from DTH providers.

Siti cable services is not doubt a good service provider, but is there an alternative as well apart from DTH?

I am not sure about other cable services, but it would be best to ask where you get Siti cable from, as they would give other alternatives.
