Epic Channel To be avalibale in Tata Sky, Airtel Digital and Videocon d2h

A new channel is soon going to start which is called Epic Channel, and will be showcased on Tata Sky, Airtel Digital and Videocon 2dh and also leasing cable service providers

Epic Channel is a Hindi entertainment channel which will show action, comedy, drama, supernatural and also non fiction programs. The base of the channel will be Indian history and mythology. An interesting channel for all, from kids to adults where they will gain some knowledge and facts about the Indian history.

For DTH service providers Epic channel will be available on the following channels:

Tata Sky: 133
Airtel Digital: 125 for SD and 126 for HD
Videocon d2h: 117

I really hope there wont be any extra cost for this channel, DTH providers are already charging so much for packages.

I hope the programs on the channel are more realistic type and not made the fictional type, as I am quite interested in reading and watching about Indian history.

This channle will show some old TV shows..
Like : Shree Krishna, Mahabharat (the 2 old ones) etc... Laughter challenge(comedy) etc..
Or newly made shows?? Any idea?

So basically the channel is new, but will show only Indian history related programs be it old or new. Good for the kids, but for adults it would have been good if it would have shown programs like in a documentary version.

I am not quite sure but the other say I saw the the Epic channel and it was with the kids section. So is this a kids channel or a mixture?
