That's the real fact and that happen because of big late and long middle age in India and also Asia (1200--1700) which destroy Indian old culture I don't want to blame any body or any specific King but its a fact and middle age shadow is still present in our society(specially in villages and partially in cities).Peoples are in really confusing state they still believe middle age culture is the real India culture but suddenly is not that middle age is not the most prosperous period in India as also Asia and entire Europe.
Now i am coming to the topic govt should legal the adult video but i don't think they will do that after all it will not give them extra vote but also opposite possibility is present that they can lose few rural vote and also urban vote(conservative and veteran person) and politics is all about for vote(No party want s to lose in the election)
Now problem in Indian society is everything can be happen under the carpet nobody want to expose it in the society.I think we have to wait until our society become literate enough.Then people will compel the Govt. to take few decisions for Modernization Of India

People like to believe in increasing population.but sex is a taboo for them.(
there is legal and there is illegal sexuality.i think its not bad if sex is discussed in studies for the sake of health.sex is not taboo when you are talking what you call a democracy.i don mean that democracy means that you can do just anything.but when there are people who are depressing the woman society of the country,making them just population machines,than why cant talk of sexuality when health is at sake.adult tv must not be shown in India as children know how to unlock tv remotes,but talking of sex amongst the educated and well versed people must not be stopped.

I agree with your point but i still think law and rules must have to create after thinking of every aspect of society and entire country should not suffer only for the children . (and the reason is what admin said in first post) Now in case of children to protect them from thing this responsibility goes to the parents of them they can't blame the society's rule & law for that.But still i agree with you that adult tv channel will not be suitable at this scenario special rural area and small cities iwhere still we are fighting with illiteracy and such a moment this thing can create a evil effect on few area of society.

If you all remember our Ex-Censor Board President Mr. Vijay Anand, suggested few years back that adult movie making should be allowed in India, it should be given adult certificate and specific halls should release the movies. It would not only stop piracy but also help for making a new industry ....which is working otherwise and will generate revenue for govt. too.
Hope govt. understands this soon.

IMO whether its good or bad , people or the soceity as such will not allow that to happen no matter what. The issue will be made political and then there will be no end to it.

Personally i'm against all this.

how can ne one be sure bout those kids that they wont download these adult videos from net (as they are widely available on net for free) or they wont take DVD's/CD's frm their friends..........

thats what i'm saying my friend that we cant stop anyone to do these things by making useless laws on them.........
even the policemans in the area of Palika and new delhi are making money with those shop owners......why not police just allow them nd put some taxes on these kind of things.........

This is a very good point by Admin, i support this point. If the people are allowed to use the toys then there will be a significant decrease in the people who go to call girls .....

As girls get matured there harmonal level will increase hence the eager to have pleasure increases so if they are given the toys to use then they can pleasure themselves rather than going for a boyfriend..... i have seen many girls who go just DATE boys but dont have any affairs....

We did a HIV prevention campaigning and there girls said in India to have any sort of physical relation with a boy is considered bad, so they should at least be allowed to use toys.... Here Govt is telling its illegal to use toys and illegal to get married till 18 for girls and 21 for boys., and the harmones start their effect by 13-15 yrs so what should they do for 4-5 years....? so they are forced to maintain boyfriends.... I too accept in India our culture does not permit for any of things and i am not against it, but just tell me 1 thing why we all are living....? to have happiness, when we cant have that only cant even pleasure ourselves when we want means then whats the use of it.....?

Their should be a moderate laws which prevent illegal use & some freedom to hae pleasure too.......

Thanks for your valuable comments, but if u want to remove bandwidth blockage, its not porn these days, its piracy thats doing the damage my friend. Suggest a way to stop piracy of music, movies, softwares, games etc. That will help sort out bandwidth related issues.

1st of all govt, wont implement beaming of adult channels in cable TV/DTH even if they know that it wont change the situation from present except of getting revenues. only reason of this becoz of the power, if they implements it they will get strong opposition from their alliance just becoz of political reason. they dont care about social effects, they only care about their political profit which may get harmed by legally beaming of adult channels on air.

You are absolutely Right saugatdb'. Only due to opposite parties they are not allowing adult channels and so,... . My Vote is to allow adult stuffs in india. Those who support this can leave a comment here.
Very soon Our indian govt will allow adult stuffs,..
