Thread: SUN Direct DTH STB problem on AV and RF

SUN Direct DTH installed. I have one error
STB NO: SN9000IR

I use Audio/video cable for connect DTH to TV.

After sometime changing the channels automatically TV change (jump) AV to TV mode. Once again switch AV button on TV, after some channel browsed once again TV changes AV to TV mode. Why?

I connect TV to DTH using RF cable. Tune channel to Number: 1

After some channel browsed (changed) automatically TV change (jump) TV (number 1) to AV mode. Once again switch 1 button on remote of TV, after some channel browsed once again TV changes TV (number 1) to AV mode. Why?

In DISH TV – I connect TV and DTH using AV cable. No problem arises. (I use DISH TV 3 years). After changing SUN direct this problem arises.

I do not understand the problem. Please help me for identifying the problem.

Now I use both AV and RF (Number 1) on TV. It simultaneously jumps AV to TV mode (number 1), TV mode (number 1) to AV. But my TV watching not stop, Any action not required like pressing AV button once again or Number 1 button.

But I want to solve this problem. These problems of DTH, TV, or voltage, clarify me.

The problem is with the remote IR code/frequency. It is sending a signal that is (unfortunately) clashing with the TV IR frequency. The problem is with the STB - I mean that there is no issue with the STB per se, only that STB remote is clashing with TV remote.

As you have stated, there is no problem with Dish TV. You can request for a new Sun DTH STB but from a different company/make.
