    Dear xwhyz,

As of now ,it is not possible to use settop box of dish tv with tata-sky or vice versa. However special settop boxes with CAM module is available in European countries where it is possible to do so. None of DTH operaters in India have introduced such boxes till date. THese boxes have to be introduced by the DTH operaters .

set top boxes with cam modules are available in India also but the service providers like DishTv, Tata Sky etc are deliberately designed their system which prevents the compatibility. As per TRAI all the set top boxes should be compatible to each other but the service providers are breaking this rule quoting some loop holes.
