Rep Power: 2 | But the fact will remain that among how many households really have computers to watch iptv?! Only 25% or less might be having computers to watch iptv or it can be shown through regular tv too?? Can someone clear my doubt? |

Rep Power: 0 | IPTV, in India, is available only on TV. Given that IPTV comes thru a telephone connection, it would have lesser addressable market than DTH. But that, if at all, is for the operators to think about. For the users, the story is interesting. Again, given that IPTV comes thru a telephone connection, it means it can provide REAL interactive services, like true On-Demand Entertainment (Movies, Music, Games, Karaoke), and internet type applications (sms, email, educational applications, maps, information services, ticketing,shopping...). Plus PVR can be provided at a much lower price - basic STB can provide PVR unlike the expensive Tata Sky Plus |

| I am 100% agree with shadowcon.BSNL IPTV already is in trouble because of so high rate, not able to give such technical facility (frequent cable fault etc).DTH or even local cable is far better than IPTV in that moment.IPTV can be famous in the European country(specially in France) but present moment I don't think IPTV will get good response in India. |
