Default DD's DTH downgraded where is this leading ?

DD's DTH service which was destined to be a good stage for private channels and thus expanding their membership is now sinking soon.

It shows about 34 channels out of which 31 are from Doordarshan. With the private companies running away from them, can DD's DTH cope up? It remains to be seen.

Source of information : - DD`s DTH becomes pubcaster by default

I dont think so..with the average middle class income touching new limits and televsion becoming an essential commidity in our country..I dont forsee any future of DD's DTh unless it takes a step up in quality

Now this is not good. If they are just broadcasting there own channels then people would not opt for there services. They should include more and more channels in there service list otherwise it would not be a good thing for them in near future.
