There is one bad news for Direct viewers that Z-Music is being deleted but also a new Hindi Music channel is being added named "Music India". I think DD should just increase and not delete any channels.

This is really sad zee music is a good channel.. hope they work something out between themselves and include it again in the near future.

Well it is not that they are deleting this because they don't like this channel. There must had been some problem with them it or they must have seen a decrease in the channel rating which forced them to take this step.

In this competition laden world, it is a pity to see doordarshan has lost its hold on huge customer base they had long back and that they are doing the same in dth too by such steps of reducing channels instead of increasing it. I feel that doordarshan should be privatised at least to compete to a certain extent with other major channels and dth operators in india.
