Doordarshan, AIR to beam India-Pakistan Tests

The forthcoming India-Pakistan Test series will be available on Doordarshan and All India Radio. The Delhi High Court Friday ruled that the Indian cricket board and sports channel NEO cannot stop beaming to official broadcaster Prasar Bharti.

Refusing to grant the prayer of Nimbus Communication, the parent organisation of NEO Sports, a bench headed by Chief Justice M.K. Sarma said the court could not intervene in the matter in view of the provision in the Sports Broadcasting Signal (Mandatory sharing of feed with Prasar Bharti) Act, 2007.
