    Default Jodha-Akbar

No. This is not a review. Just describing the clarity of picture. It is just above average and quite tolerable. It could do better. Here are results on projection.

    Note:

    a) Picture when projected looses its brightness
    b) Picture taken is in night mode and hence there is blur and hand-shake
    c) Actual picture appears better
    d) On CRT TV, picture quality is much better

You do not know know what you are talking about ....

This is a picture that is blown on a 110" screen via projection. On a projection, the picture looses a lot of contrast and brightness.

And then picture was taken by a very average digital camera (Kodak ZX650) using night mode - there is a lot of handshake in the picture.

ok... got your point. the camera quality and the size of the screen does matter. we are used to see dth services on small screens and wrongly expect the same quality from large screens also ...

Agreed. All I am saying is that the quality is tolerably good. But it does not match DVD.
