Dish tv is the poor qulality transmission I EVER SEEN, audio is echoing, The KAON Reciever also poor quality, cheap chinse reciever are far better than dish tv recievers. CABLE TV IS BETTER THAN DISH TV. MY ADVICE TRY TATA SKY. I also enquired with my friends circle and they also telling the worst quality.

Yes I agree. TATA sky is much better than DISH tv and also you get uninterrupted NEO sports which means you can watch the upcoming Indo-Pak series. And the STB of tata is much better than that of DISH TV.

Going thru a dealer is the best option. Installation is usually done within three (working) days of placing order.

No. That is not correct. It all depends upon availability of equipment and personnel at that time. My DishTV connection took 3 days whereas my father-in-law's Tata-Sky was connected in the same day (day of payment). We cannot judge the entire scenario based on personal experiences and external events such as seasons of high demand, etc. On an average, both companies promise connection in 3 working days.

Yes that's true i agree with you as well , it all depends upon person and their availability of equipment ... but on todays scene it takes max 24 hrs if person is available. as instrument is most of the time available.

DishTV does not have that much clarity as the TATA Sky have. I have seen both of the services and there is a little or shall i say a difference in the picture quality from both of these satellite TV service providers.

Absolutely incorrect. There must be some problem at the place where you saw. Quality in viewing is also determined by the TV set. I sometimes watch cricket matches by blowing them on my 8' x 6' feet screen via projector. I have not seen any problems in quality.

I have TataSky, and I run it on two TVs, and it works perfectly, and all those who have DishTV and come to my house say that the quality of TataSky is better than their DishTV's.

I have a DISH TV connection for 2 years and it works just fine. There are no problems with picture quality or sound quality. I am not sure how and why anyone claims that the picture quality of TATA is better?? I think TATA is more a marketing gimmick than any real difference. I have seen people complaining about STBs but what I fail to understand is that if the audio & video works well, what do you care how the STB is made?? I think people here are just trying to come up with vague excuses to support TATA. I would recommend them to switch to dish instead. I have had absolutely no problems with Dish for the last 2 years.

There must be some problem with the dish alignment. If your dish is not harnessed properly, its alignment may get disturbed by strong winds, etc.
