Changing from Tata Sky to Dish TV Because Dish TV has now launched their HD channels with the HD pack of four channels for Rs150 per month, do you think it is worth changing from Tata Sky to Dish TV?
Im quite confused whether or not to change and its mainly because of the HD channels, but other wise Tata Sky is pretty good!
Once again golden rule: never fix anything that isn't broken.
1. It will be silly to switch to DishTV just because of HD.
2. TataSky will also launch HD soon. They cannot afford to be left behind.
3. Do you have HD-Ready or Full-HD TV at home? If not, HD will make no difference.
4. If you wish to switch, you will have to pay cost for dish, LNB, new (HD-capable) STB and installation charges all over again.
5. It is better to wait and watch. First compare quality. Next the cost of switching. With TS, you will only have to pay the cost of STB and they may offer a discount for existing customers.

There maybe price benefit also Tata Sky may provide more channels in HD.
