Thread: Tuner card for Dish TV to PC

Hi,

I am going to buy a new monitor. I am also planning to watch Dish TV on my PC monitor. But I have a few queries:

1. Does tv tuner card in any way affect the quality, reception etc of Dish TV?

2. Which is the best tv tuner card for me? (I don't want to record the shows, so I will be buying external tuner card).

3. Will my tuner card affect the HD channels provided by Dish TV?

You do not need a TV tuner card to view Dish tv on your computer monitor if you get a Dish HD box if your monitor has an HDMI input. All you need to do is connect your Dish HD box with the monitor using HDMI cable and it should work. I would suggest buying monitor with inbuilt speakers so you wont have to plug in external speakers.

admin is right you dont need a tv tuner card,
if you want to buy then buy Play Tv pro series.
it works with my asianet cale since 2 years with no problem9 some grains in some channels due to frequency difference)
