Thread: Dish TV DTH dealer id in Pakistan

i want to become an authorized dishtv.in to sale its products from my shop.and want to know how i get an authorized dealer id and password from them.i am from skardu pakistan.

There are no authorized dealers of any Indian DTH company including Dish tv and Tata sky etc in Pakistan. Those shops who sell dish tv or other dth services are doing it illegally in Pakistan. Ary is in talks of launching DTH in Pakistan but untill they do that you cant use DTH legally in Pakistan and nor can you sell it.

The way these DTH sellers in Pakistan work is pretty complicated and there are instances where services have been terminated when people get caught in this side of the border. Some DTH company employees who have contacts with people in Pakistan send over the boxes to Pakistan and they use locally available dishes to work at antennas and some of them actually bring in the whole set using courier companies and routing stuff via UAE and in some cases Hongkong and Singapore but UAE route is the most popular one. Once a DTH box is sold off to a customer they also sell top up cards which in some cases is sold at twice the actual price.

Even if you manage to get into the loop some how and start selling DISH TV or Tata sky boxes it would be illegal for you to do that. I Suggest you wait till ARY launches their DTH service and get their dealership instead or if Government of Pakistan makes it legal to sell Indian DTH services in Pakistan.... which is highly unlikely.

Well, we may be wrong. But I often see sometimes a scrolling ticker as:

This DishTV signal is meant for viewing in India only. ... etc.

You should contact the above person and find out.

well, i think this is not possible for now, as DTH services given by Indian cos. are meant for viewed only in India..
i dont know, but maybe , technically too this is not better option as satellite signals are meant only for dth end users in India and not Pakistan..

but as j4k said ask the representatives in dth cos.. maybe there is some way...
