Thread: Sue Dish TV-Misleading advt-35 HD Channels

Dear members,

Now that most of you are aware that Dish Tv is fooling their customers giving misleading information, we must bring this issue into lime light. Dish TV will be least bothered unless someone makes an official complaint againist them.

In India, the ACSI (Advertising Standards Council of India) can look into the matter very seriously, provided they get enough complaints from us/customer who are fooled by Dish TV.

A formal complaint can be lodged aganist them, either online or mailing to them by the format provied in the website. I have made an online complaint, request all to support me and all those who got cheated by Dish TV.


Let sue their "Have you HDed yet" advt!!

Hi Members,
Please note that even in the HD royale pack, Dish is not providing NGC HD and Discovery HD from April. I was rudely informed by the CC last month that 'based on customer feedback' Dish TV has decided to remove NGC HD and Discovery HD! Further I presume that they have stopped TLC HD as well (of course now u get Xplore HD).
I am surprised that in spite of this they still list these two channels in their HD pack website ([dishtv.in/HD_MICROSITE/channels]Dish TruHD Pack: ZEE TV HD, ZEE CINEMA HD, DISCOVERY HD, NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC CHANNEL HD[/url]). This is clearly a case of misleading the public.

Best way is to abandon/boycott Dish TV. They are making a completely mockey of the customers and taking them to ride - especially when it comes to HD.

For SD, DishTV is alright.

If and when I upgrade to HD, I shall not be with DishTV (unless they improve at that point).
