Thread: HD Customers-Pls respond

I need to hear from old dish tv customers who have upgraded to HD services.
For the Rs.550/month pack, what extra channels do you get. Customer care told that MTV, Vh1 ...blah blah all in HD format. Is that really in HD? Is the HD logo present for all these channels. As far as I know the HD logo is present only for Discovery, Nat Geo and Times Movies.

Second question, have they changed the antenna allignment? It seems the signals for HD customers are from Asiasat 5 and not NSS6. Is this satellite too east facing like NSS6? I live in a rented property and so dont want to remove the antenna and drill another hole!!

Hiii...i'v upgraded from old to HD as i got myself a new full HD LCD.....True HD channels are:
Nat Geo HD
Nat Geo Wild HD
Discovery HD
Travel XP HD
Movies Now HD
DD HD
Nat Geo Adventure HD
M Tunes HD

Others r upscaled to match the HD quality...but still better then normal channels...go ahead u wont regret...i'v got both Tata sky nd Dish tv at home but the channels offered are more by dish tv....i know tata sky is very easy to use but if u want channels get Dish TV TruHD...i got mine free with Samsung 32" Full HD LCD
