Thread: Star Movies & Times Now Removed

Really surprised to see Star Movies and Times Now being removed from the Platinum Package.. Completely Unfair by Dish TV.. looks like its time to switch to another provider or back to the cable guy. !

Since you're from B'lore Im guessing that you have opted for South Platinum? Well, I have the same package and I get those channels. May be you need to retune your setop box!

This happens very rarely, even Im not sure why this happens. But if you call the customer care for this they will ask you to re-tune the box, and if this doesnt work, they say that its due to a antenna misallignment, and they will schedle an appointment at a service charge of 150Rs. But, the real issue lies with in the set top box, once the set top box is "RESET" to the factory settings, everything gets back to normal.. But the customer care fools doesnt know this (or may be they know, but tries to get the money by scheduling a visit)!

I can confirm that the two channels mentioned are very much present in the respective packs.
