Hi,

For all those SD customers, Dish TV is being a useless service provider, as they are migrating to a new satellite, Asiasat from NSS6. So, whats the sad news? Well, all the new channel beams are added to Asiasat, and so NSS6 users cant get these new channels. To get the channels from both the satellites, it needs "Monoblobk LNB"Monoblock LNB.jpg

What it essentially does is get the feeds from both the satellites and send this to your setop box. Dish HD customers by default has these, as the HD channels are being beamed from Asiasat and SD channels from NSS6!

So, what are Dish TV planning to do with their SD customers??

Anyone, is it possible to get the SD channels from Asiasat just by fixing a monoblock LNB to our existing Dish, without opting for a HD connection. Anyone done this so far??

Regards
Nevin
