Dish TruHD+ usb device not readable on pc!!!!!!!!!!! Hi.. Ive used a 4GB pendrive with my dishtv hd dvr and sucessfully recorded the program but nowas i connect that pendrive to my pc, it asks to format it..... i have used PVR explorer, Ext3,4 all types of file browser but still it is unreadble...
so which format doest it uses and is there any way to watch it on pc also....

Alright then format the pen drive then convert it to NTSC and then record and open it from PC.
To convert FAT32 volume to NTFS, follow these steps:
Click Start>Run there type CMD
At the command prompt, type the following, where drive letter is the drive that you want to convert:
convert drive letter: /fs:ntfs
For example, type the following command to convert drive E to NTFS:
convert e: /fs:ntfs
No use buddy...because when u again plug the pen drive to STB it ask for format and after that onlt the recording starts...and when u plug it on pc it ask for format gain...thrz got to b some way....plzzz find out and post

yes the recording is played perfectly on STB.....it may b using its own proprietary file system or some other encryption techniques but plz find a way to solve it
the STB asks to format it and ina 2GB pendrive the STB is giving 1.2GB free space after format God knows wht has taken the remaining space.......after every format it only gives this much of free space
