hi ppl

Any one from the middlest getting disht tv channels and dd channels in the same single satellite for dishtv reciver ?plz pass the info for the satellite ft(i am using 6ft)and the Lnb needed for it.

In middle east you will not be able to recieve dd channels. as they on different satellite and that satellite don't have penetration in middle east and will not cover middle east region.

So this means that in middle East India we would not be able to see DD channels on the dish TV. am i right?

Middle-East means region covering UAE, Saudi Arabia, Muscat, Oman, etc.

Dish TV does not provide services outside India. But the satellite signal is "catchable" in the middle-east. One can subscribe to DishTV in India and then take the equipment to middle-east (say Dubai) and setup the connection there. So in theory, one can watch DishTV in middle-east.

As far as subscription is concerned, the person can renew subscriptions over the internet.

Same holds true for TataSky also.

This is strictly illegal and one may also be prosecuted in the host country. But I wouldn't be surprised if someone is not already doing it (chupke-chupke).
