Rep Power: 0  |  Video and Sound Quality on Dish TV i feel Dish TV Video and sound quality differ for different channels ....why is it so????...............is it the same for Tata SKY..................i really dont feel it to be a DVD quality video and sound.............. what could be the real problem in this??????? cant we follow up with Dish TV to improve the same!!!!! |

Rep Power: 5 |  Yes. It is true. The quality of Video is slightly better in TataSky (just marginally), but even there it is not DVD quality. The sound is also stereo in both cases and not AC3 as per DVD standards. The only thing that you get is digital quality. The video and audio is slightly better than VHS quality.

Rep Power: 1 | well their is hardly any difference with the picture and audio quality in tata sky and dishtv. and its very difficult to find out with naked eyes if their is any difference. |

What you say is true. To the naked eye there is very little difference. And it also depends upon dish alignment, signal strength, etc. Tatasky is marginally better - so if dishTv scores 80%, I will give Tatasky as 80.1%. | |
