Thread: The new "Mahabharat" serial

This thread could go into any TV related forum ...

Yesterday I had the "dur-buddhi" (stupidity) to tune the 9X channel to watch the new Mahabharat at 9 PM. I turned off in 5 mins. My god, such a pathetic attempt and soooo ugggh!

After having watched B R Chopra's creation (which was not without flaws, BTW), this was a total turn off. In the the 5 minutes that I watched:

- There was a obnoxious/cackling Shakuni Mama
- There was a block of wood called Duryodhan
- There was a piece from the shouting brigade. I think his name was Dushasan
- There were some furniture items called "Padavas"
- And there was a melodramatic item called Draupadi (with typical dialogues from serials)

Way to go - Ms. Ekta Kapoor!!!!!!!!

Dear just4kix, you are not the only victim of that "tsunami" I too watched that crap

The worst part was, typical ekta kapoor style , to show same scene atleast thrice from three different angles then by making the images still and then by changing the colours to black and white and so on.....

I felt I am watching some kind of Ancient Saas Bahu show....

One thing more, I hate Aryan, the guy who played Duryodhan....

Do something different in filmy word HatKe from ur typical style of serial making...otherwise bhattha baith jayega Balaji Telifilms ka

"Kahani hamare" has been written in too small letters otherwise I would have smelled that "K"
