I have never had experience with Dish TV. But I suppose its already a flop in market? Not even TV advertisement for quite a long time.

Tata sky is comparitively better and it seems to be the best in DTH. Quality is really good and considerable cost

What do you mean - no add about DishTV? There are plenty of ads everyday with Shahrukh Khan blubbering "Wish Karo, Dish Karo", not only on TV but in dailies. Either you are blind and indifferent.

And let me tell you another thing. A really good product needs initial advertising only. Later on it sells by itself by word of mouth and oral publicity. The longer you see ad's of a particular product (long after its launch), the more shitty it is likely to be.

Don't you think its funny or might be you are watching channels which are not available in India. other their is no chance to miss dishtv ad with shahrukh saying "WISH KARO . DISH KARO". their are lots of ads on all the channels and also on news papers.

As the problem is not rectified till now,I'm discontinue the service.
Anybody please tell me What is the procedure to discontinue/surrender the Dish TV service.

Exclamation Dish Tv is better for South
Dishtv has lot of tamil channels missing in tatasky like SS Music, Jaya Plus, Raj TV, Zee tamil, kalangar Isai Aruvi, Makkal, Mega etc... and a list of free to air channels.. which is missing in tatasky. Movie channe like TCM and MGM also Missing.. DishTV is value for Money. But Tatasky is little bit costlier..... Service wise i think tatasky is better than dishtv. Tatasky can show all free to air channels. so it will cover some regional channels also.

Well, I've only one issue with dish TV... It doesn't provide Neo channels... I missed all of last Ind-Aus test series... I had to follow it on internet... It was real pain in ass...

M a big cricket fan and its such a disappointment that dish does not neo. . and i took quite a while to get use to their features.. i kinda found them a lil not so easy.

Yes its true dishtv doesnot have neo sports but do we really need neo as all the one day matches will be available on dd national and only we miss out is test matches played in indian soil that are hardly 4-5 in a year. so for me it doesn't matter.

well ya dd also shows them but, personally i dont like to watch dd , commentary is kinda annoying.. so i would have rather liked to watch it on Neo and i love watching test matches.
