Thread: CNBC channels will be charged now..!!!!

Hi Guys....CNBC TV 18 and CNBC Awaz channels are not out of the Maxi package and will be provided as add on.This mean the customer will have to pay Rs.25 per month to view these.

Another point is that Dish TV did not inform about this in any manner.I just came to know this when I discussed this with Dish TV CC.

As per their Dish TV sites it seems that will now start charging for Ten Sports as well..

I'm not in India so bear with me, what kind of programming does CNBC have? Just curious.

i really dont like this CNBC awaz and never watch this channel...

and tata sky is aready charging 15 rupees extra for Ten Sports as an addon

CNBC channels in india are joint venture between CNBC network and TV 18 Network India.

CNBC TV 18 is the leading English business news channel in India.CNBC Awaaz is its Hindi counterpart which also focuses on consumer affairs.

I feel that it will not be long when DishTv starts bundling add-on packages. A-la-carte package in form of TV5Monde and Topper already exists.

My DishTV connection is paid till 31-Dec. I will decide what to next year and depending upon the situation then.

Actually CNBC Awaaz is one of the better news channels.

Its a shame it will be charged as an add on, as its a news channel and should be included in the packages with all the other news channels.

j4x i know its a better news channel but still i like to read news on internet only, don't want to wast time watching 5 times

reading can take up time too and you cant do anything else while reading, while watching tv you can do other things too.............multi tasking!

Hmm, well i too saw this, crap i just wanted to know how much does Dish Welcome customers need to pay??

As for now i am in Free usage, since we took it just 1 month before.

And once more thing these guys are disabling many channels like Filmy, and other leaving only South regional channels.
What do i do now??
