Hi there,
I wanted to switch/change/buy a new Broadband connection since BSNL's WLL sucks a hell lot!!! [ Lame speed

].

So i wanted to know which are the best broadband connection available in Bangalore except Airtel BB since it not available in our Locality [Place], Sify Sucks a Hell out of Stayam's Ass.

So i just wanted to know which are the other best BB's available [Need atleast 20- 26 kbps transfer at a time].

Can any1 suggest a network??

EN: I see BSNL's customers suffering a hell, Sify customers beating their Ass, Reliance customers paying a high price for a low speed+bandwidth.

So i just wanted to know, will credit you for a best suggestion for a best network

You can try Tata indicom wimax or Reliance wimax. I am using tata wimax and speed has not been an issue atall although I had some down time in the begining due to faulty installation and as long as your connection works it would give you good speeds its just their customer support which sucks big time.

Smoothvibes is also using tata wimax and havent had any issues ever since he got it.

Well Admin i see, so Admin 1 really noob question, whats the difference between Wimax and Broadband??

Secondly how much does Tata's connection costs?? and in how many days will i get connection installed??

Just answer few of my question since last time when i had been to True value shoppe of Tata Indicom, they re-directed me to customer care and their i got no proper solutions from CSR/TSR.

Broadband connection can be provided in a number of ways : You can get an adsl connection (which airtel and bsnl provides ) You can get a cable onnection like the one sify and hathway provides.
And then there is wimax which does not need any wires running into your house as it is wireless.
For a wimax connection be it tata wimax or reliance they will fix a small ariel on your terrace or balconey from where their tower is in line of sight and there will be a cable from the ariel to your home and they will provide a wimax modem.
Wimax has proven to be a good technology its just our desi companies employees lax attitude which is ruining the consumers experiences otherwise its been doing great in other countries.

Wimax is pretty reliable if tata or reliance employees behave themselves.. which they dont.

Cost of tata wimax : Its the same as shown on their website.

What is CST/TSR ?

CSR: Customer support representative.
TSR: Technical support representative.

CSR: You call a call center with your normal queries inorder to get them solved and they handle very normal queries like : tariffs, mototodo, some information,forward to other depts,...

TSR: You call a call center with your technical queries inorder to get them solved and they only solve technical related queries like : My BB is not properly installed how would i do it?? [They say simple steps], my Sim is blocked how to i unblock it?? i wanna build a webpage suggest me things,.....

CSR and TSR are also known a CSA [Customer support Agent]/TSA [Technical support Agent]. They operate customer queries only inside an organization [Call centers & BPO]

Forgot to mention that Reliance wimax is a lot cheaper then tata wimax but with tata you get a prepaid option which is not available with reliance and I do not like to be on mercy of any of these companies and always prefer prepaid so there are no billing issues.

If you are ok with spending a little extra money I would say go with tata wimax.. My connection was installed within 3 days of application.

You can actually apply for tata wimax online from their website.

I was searching on forums, i found your problem regarding Tata Wimax connection

, is it suitable to go for it??

EN: Suffered a Hell with Sify No more will be suffered as i will re-direct any such issues to Consumer court nor CCB dept.
