Wink Visual Trace Routing of any domain from your PC

Visual Trace Routing is nifty little tool to trace the route taken from your machine to the server where the said domain resides. It basically traces each hop's geographic location and displays it using Google Maps

The link also the following tools
    1. Display the location of a network address
    2. Identify open ports in your Internet connection

Let me know if this was useful in wasting your time in office ;-)

Your own http port (80) must not be open. Only if you are hosting a website, you must open this port. Same applies to DNS port as well.

welcome , its a fun to watch the network connection going from on region to another region. Think of, all these distance are travelled within seconds makes me think how technology has advanced in these last couple of years what might our future hold . Maybe we will also wear those Space Jump suits we keep seeing our all those Sci Fi movies.
