    :bored: Can not connect to web interface of the modem by typing 192.168.1.1 Though the modem(model 450BX1 ADSL 2+ router)is working in bridge mode,I can't change now to auto connect mode through PPPOE. Can some one guide me.

    Please go to
    Start>Control Panel>NEtwork connections>Local Area Connection and click properties.

    Then select TCP/Ip and click on properties
    enter the following values
    IP:192.168.1.100
    Subnet:255.255.255.0
    Default Route:192.168.1.1
    Click Ok, now you should be able to open your router config page

    Still unable to get.When connecting,momentorily Dsl Router appears,than it displays "Internet Explorer Can Not Display The Web Page"This problem has started when Factory Settings were restored.

    Try resetting the modem to the default factory settings by pressing the button found in the rear using a suitable pin. U should be able to open up the web interface without any problems then.

    this happens with me also ... the modem status page doesnt opens up all the time ... i dont know why ... sometimes it does ... at times doesnt opens ...

    well actually when more than one pc connected via the switch are running this problem happens. when only one of them is running - the status page opens normally...

    i am facing this problem for a long time ...
