    Question DSL Connectivity

    Hi Friends,

I want to know whether i can terminate two 2 mbps dsl lines on a device & get a throughput of combined speed that is 4 mbps. The DSL lines could be from AIRTEL & YOUTELECOM/BSNL.What the the device to be used to terminate the DSL connections if this can be achieved .

    Thanks

U need to invest on a load balancer to combine the speed of two connections. Else u can get connected simultaneously, but only one connection will be active.

Speed will add up When using Torrents and download managers.

Also while browsing if your are loading a heavy page (a flash animation) by default WAN 1 will be used.

Now at the same time if you try to access a new webpsge WAN 2 will be used and the page will load fast.
