Rep Power: 3 | This is a unique kind of protest against fraudulent companies like airtel, reliance and tata indicom that are using fair usage policies on unlimited plans. I suggest that we flood the inbox of TRAI with emails. They have to reply as per law. So in that way we can cause inconvenience to them so that they actually listen to our queries. We can have something like this email addresses can be seen at: trai.gov.in/contactus.asp Subject:Protest against fair usage policy. Dear Sir/Madam, This is in reference to companies such as Tata Indicom, Reliance and Airtel using so called 'Fair Usage policies' (limited download limits) on unlimited download plans. TRAI does not specify anything as "FAIR USAGE" on unlimited plans and I as a citizen of this nation have the right to ask you what you are doing about it. This is absolutely intolerable as it goes against the meaning of unlimited. I request TRAI to issue notifications to the respected parties as soon as possible as this is a seriously unfair practice which is hampering the growth of broadband usage in the country. Thank You also, please be sure to change the subject and text a little bit so that they cannot use filters to automatically reply or delete messages. Those who like to send ground mail can do so to: THE TELECOM REGULATORY AUTHORITY OF INDIA Mahanagar Doorsanchar Bhawan, (next to Zakir Hussain College) Jawaharlal Nehru Marg (Old Minto Road) New Delhi : 110 002 or fire the life out of them on: 91-11-2321 1934, 91-11-2323 3466, 91-11-2322 0534, 91-11-2321 3223 you can also keep faxing them on: 91-11-2321 3294 We can only get rid of these fraudulent companies with your support, so please try your very best to send as many messages to them as you can. |

| I think we should opt hard mail (regular post) for complaints. I understand Fair usage policy is wrong and unacceptable, but still there can be much urgent issues to be addressed. if we flood their inbox with only this subject we may actually doing a wrong thing. So please protest, but through regular post and with subject line as " Something....... Fair usage policy". So they can count how many FUP complaints they receive everyday even if they put it in the waste basket. So please spend 5 rupees to protest. And protest we should. |

Rep Power: 9 | the only way your protest would have any sort of impact in these Co. is if all the protesters surrender their connections and shift to BSNL and also send chain mails to as many people as u can highlighting the fradulent practice adopted by these Co. and urging them not to be fooled by these Co. These blood suckers only react if their pockets are hit. |

But beleive me there are so many people in India who are so ignorant about this that they would care about in the least, for they would be using unlimited plans jus to check mails everyday. any they wouldn't be willing to change to BSNL purely coz as a PSU it already has a bad named coupled with technical and PR problem, n very poor customer service. | |

| Let them name it something like 10 GB limit or something. Most of us use unlimited to keep away from billing issues. I dread the day when BSNL applies FUP. With this kind of customer care, support and billing & usage recordings, we are sure to become bankrupt. |
