    Question Best broadband in Delhi

    Hi guys,

I am moving to Delhi soon and want to know which is the "best and quick" option for getting broadband connection at home with speeds up to 512kb. I have read some excellent posts about pathetic customer service and speed from Reliance & Tata (thanks to a very lively and detailed explanation by Shri Administrator). I have also known the facts about about slow and poor service (at times) from MTNL.

This leaves me with Airtel and I am thinking of swift 1099 plan from airtel available from airtel website. Also, what sort of expense should I be looking at modem etc.

    Let me know your feedback....

    Hi Kishor9669

    Welcome to India Broadband Forum

First best option in Delhi is Airtel Broadband (if available)
Second place is reserved for MTNL Broadband
Third is my suggestion Tata Wimax (service is good with no downtime, policies are poor)

you can pick anyone but still if you need some more options then please shout back.

Smile best is lookout for local operator

best broadband conenction in terms of service and reasonable money is lookout for local internet operator,

mtnl just sucks noone listens if your net is not working, you have to wait for atleast 3-4 days to get your internet back to work. 1504 customer care persons dont even know english and dont even know some basic things like pinging the gateway etc....

airtel is very very COSTLY, they have a fair usage policy on every unlimited plan which they actually dont disclose to customers after which your connection speed will be reduced drastically or if not you will be sent with a very high bill for the usage beyond their FAIR USAGE POLICY LIMIT.

reliance just sucks too they are the same as MTNL,,,,,,

local operator will provide you a good connection and is available to you throughout the day to attend complaints, they attend you within minutes of calling them and are helpful in computer related problems too moreover they are reasonably priced and can give you heavy discount on advance payments.
    GO FOR THEM ONLY.......

    CHEERS.
