Rep Power: 0  |  Airtel Freedom2999 is not at all "FREE"dom I started to use Airtel Freedom 2999 new DSL service last July end, with 2MB DL speed with unlimited plan. September 19th, I found the DL speed got worse, around 1MB only. I called Airtel Service and was told that due to the decision by Telecom Authority of India, 100GB has been set as maximum usage with 2MB DL speed, and this decision was by January 2009. When I told the service guy that I had no problem in usage more than 100GB with BSNL ADSL service till end of July. He just kept quite over phone. And after that telephone, I found in a Airtel WEB page, that they have set a restriction for DL speed if usage is over 100GB. They did this change without any prior notice to users, and cheated me with a malicious lie story when I called. Why Airtel is not polite and does not respect users? Do people in India accept such attitude to users by Airtel? |
