    Default Mtnl Vs Reliance Help!!

Hello everyone!! I am new here and forgive me if I posted it in the wrong section.

I am confused whether to go for reliance or mtnl broadband. I download around 80-100 gb per month via torrent. Here are the plans I am interested in -

    mtnl TriB UL data-512 Combo-------down speed - 1mbps ----------rent -Rs 999

reliance Night Booster Zoom 1--------down speed - 1mb(day)2mb(night)--------rent-1499

    reliance Combo 1mbps------down speed -1mbps ---------rent- 1099

All these are unlimited plans. I dont know much about the service and speed of these providers and hence I am in a fix.

I need the broadband in Delhi.

I've been using Bsnl 750UL for 3 years and quite satisfied. I bought Tata photon+ recently to use in Delhi and I'm very disappointed since it disconnects frequently and the speed is terrible even though i've have not used the 5gb at 3.1 mbps.

Please feel free to share any kind of experience or advice,I would really appreciate it.

Thank you for the help. But the link you posted says "session expired".
And will I've to apply for the landline before applying for the internet or is it done together?

Then select Triband registration for this link.

If you don't have an MTNL phone , you have to register for a telephone first.

Sorry No idea. It is BSNL 3G in Chennai.
If you check in Forum MTNL 3G you will get the details
    http://indiabroadband.net/showthread.php?t=36642

Your target :80GB to 100GB every month
    Please ask query there.

If you have to use more than one system and use . smartphones in wifi mode or Desktops/laptops etc, additional 3G router will be required.
( cost: starts Rs 4000 and above )

Yes, there is no free roaming BSNL 3G in MTNL area. You need to pay extra.

i use it daily (not today)..

speeds have gone lower for me past some days.. getting around 30-100kbps not more.. maybe its a temperory problem.

actually you have to buy it for delhi, you know. there is no other choice, voda, reliance airtel everything is expensive except mtnl.

get a local mtnl sim card.

buy the modem from a shopkeeper. and ask for unlocked piece.
Site from home gaya bhad mein... AIrtel se bolo FUP band kare.. BSNl se bolo 3G signal do!!!!>: (

    @mickey

30-100 kbps does not sound very good,I was expecting something around 150-250kbps.
I was thinking about getting the 1mbps combo plan(Rs 999) but then I saw the 6 month Rs 4500 3g offer.

Is it possible to unlock the Tata photon+ data card?

    Thank you for the help!!

are you using prepaid or postpaid? How much does it cost? 1650+mobile charge?
And will I have to go to the mtnl office everyday month for recharge?
