Thread: How to use zxdsl 531b in my home network.

i have zxdsl 531b modem.

this modem has 4-LAN port and wifi features.

i haven't any bordband connection but i use 3g internet via IDEA Netsetter.

My problem is...........

1.setup lan and wifi network as home network.
2.one pc as main-pc and this main-pc has internet of idea netsetter this internet use by other computer which is connected by LAN and WiFi....

Please give more details about IDEA netsetter.
Are you using a 3G USB Modem ( mention model make/number.)
Presume you have to enter userId/PW in browser to connect .
or a Dialer to log in.
Mention OS used .

i have idea netsetter usb stick.

and model.no of router is zxdsl 531b..

i setup file and folder sharing connection is successfully done in LAN and WiFi.

but i can not share internet connection in network form my pc....

The present WIFI model ZXZxdsl 531B will not work.
with the 3Gusb modem you use now.
You have to buy a 3G wifi router.
Some cable ( Rj11 or Rj45) should be connected to 531B to activate in Lan mode or WIFI mode to acccess Internet. not possible with your set up.

2. You may have to use additional PCI LAN ethernet card , with cross over cable ( modified rj45) to enable internet acccess in another computer.
Can also try with 531 B as a switch.Have to check up the details.
