hello frnds i was using 250 plan and i was getin 200+ dowloadin speed since it cost me a lot i changed to 750 plan....for 1 week i got 200+ speed i mean downloadin speed now im gettin only 28-30 kbps i checked it wit bsnl ppl...they tld me its de max speed for this plan..can any1 help me to increase my downloadin speed___



of if i change my plan wil it help me!!!!...can any1 tel me wats de speed for 500 plan durin 0020--0080...pls help me guys....can v hack this stupid bsnl!!!!!!

ul750-265kbps or 32KB/s only at max
500 nu- depends on server load in ur area, bu definitely above 75KB/s

1. The 250 plans is meant for beginner who are not going to download heavily but just check mails and browse internet. Hence it's cost is low and its usage limit is also low (1 GB). Hence it is true that if you download heavily on this plan, you will spend a fortune.

2. When you asked for a plan change, you intially got 200+ KB/s speed. This was because your plan was not changed till then. Later on when the plan changed to UL 750, you got that plan's speed (256 kbps or 32 KB/s).

4. The Home 500 C and Home Combo C plus plans will suit you if you can schedule heavy downloads during the 2 Am to 8 Am window. Please refer this thread: Automatic rebooting of router at 2 AM and 8 AM

To calculate how much transfer rate you will get just divide the speed by 8 ie.256/8 = 32kbps is the maximum transfer rate you can get any time, it wont exceed, this also depends on the network congestion, the server from where you download, the local network status, many things.

For 512 Kbps unlimited plan you may get in the range of 50+kbps at an average, thats the maximum.

Normally to get higher speed downloads go for 2Mbps plans where you can high speed downloads, which is also stable, reliable in many times.
